A Note From Us

He Teaches High School Physics. I Left My Laptop Open. The Cat Did the Rest.

Phantastic Physics is the two of us. Shawn teaches high school physics and films the lessons. I run everything else, including the comments section, where half of every thread under an Earth-shaped post is flat-earthers and the other half is people arguing with them.

We wrote this for the second half, and for anyone with a flat-Earth uncle. Not a lecture. A story about a cat who joins a group called Planet Pancake, with the real physics on every page and a check you can run yourself. The cat and its group are fictional. The physics is real, and every claim comes with a source you can click.

At checkout there are no add-ons and nothing to upgrade. You pay $17, you get the PDF, and the cat gets a formal complaint on file.

Stubborn Cat

The Cat Has Claims. Every One Gets a Check.

Six of the cat's claims, word for word from the game. Each one is a page in the story, with a drawing, the physics, and a test you can run.

The cat"Water finds its level. My bowl is flat. Case closed."
The cat"Zoom brought the boat back, so nothing was ever hidden."
The cat"The Sun doesn't set. It just gets farther away."
The cat"Australia just needs to turn around to see the North Star."
The cat"That space photo was edited. So the round Earth is fake."
The cat"A plate makes a round shadow too. Eclipses prove nothing!"

All 15 Checks, In Order

One per claim, in the order the cat makes them. Each is a page in the story.

  1. 1One idea has to fit every check
  2. 2A tiny piece of a huge ball looks flat
  3. 3"Down" points to Earth's middle
  4. 4Floating and sinking need gravity, too
  5. 5Takeoff doesn't erase Earth's motion
  6. 6Zoom can't see through the curve
  7. 7The top shows. The bottom hides.
  8. 8Go south and the North Star sinks
  9. 9Two shadows don't settle it alone
  10. 10Far away is not the same as setting
  11. 11Earth's shadow on the Moon is round
  12. 12Gravity holds the air. No lid needed.
  13. 13Same trip, very different distances
  14. 14The Sun circled the whole sky
  15. 15Edited isn't automatically fake

Common Questions

One PDF, 37 pages. A comic story where a cat works through 15 flat-Earth claims, 15 "try it" tests, "say it at dinner" lines for every claim, a section on what to say to real people, an 8-round game with an answer key, a printable fridge card and wallet card, and 37 sources with clickable links.
Written for adults who have a flat-Earth relative, a comment section, or a sense of humor. Kids who like science will follow the story fine; the physics is in plain English and the tests use things you already own. Teachers and homeschoolers: every page pairs a claim with a hands-on check, so it works as a ready-made critical-thinking lesson.
No. It reads on a phone, a tablet, or a laptop. Printing is optional, and the two pocket cards on page 33 are the part worth printing. In a print dialog that is page 34, because the cover has no page number.
The cat and its group are fictional. The physics is real, and every claim comes with a source you can check yourself.
Honestly, maybe not. Pages 24 to 29 cover what to say when it's your uncle and not your cat, and how to leave a thread you can't win. The checks are things you can both look at, which beats arguing.
You pay. Your download link arrives by email within a minute, and it also opens on screen right after checkout. Nothing in the mail, nothing to install.
No. It's a one-time $17 purchase. No monthly charge, no renewal, no add-ons at checkout.
Read it. If it isn't funny or it isn't clear, reply to your receipt email within 30 days and you get every dollar back. No forms.

The Cat Isn't Finished. Neither Is Your Uncle.

Nothing bad happens if you skip this. The next thread goes the way the last one did. Or you spend $17, read the story tonight, and show up to dinner with a fridge card and a sunset check.
